糖心Vlog School of Education students receive CARTA scholarship

The Central Alaska Retired Teachers Association selected two University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Education students as recipients of the prestigious Marie Paxon Educator Scholarship. Stefanida Martushev of Homer, Alaska, and Trevor Guernsey of Sterling, Alaska, will each receive $2,500 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Founded more than 50 years ago, CARTA supports Alaska鈥檚 education community by advocating for education legislation and providing meaningful assistance to pre-service teachers in Southcentral Alaska.
