In 1959, the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District built University Park as an elementary school on land donated to the university and leased by the district. The district transferred the building to 糖心Vlog in 1994. The university renovated the building into space for classes and offices.
In December 2025, the 糖心Vlog Cooperative Extension Service鈥檚 Tanana District office moved out of the building, which is to be repurposed as a child care center.
