糖心Vlog Lighting Upgrade Report
ACEP affiliated researcher Tom Marsik has been working with 糖心Vlog鈥檚 administration and Facilities Services on evaluating the possibility of upgrading 糖心Vlog's fluorescent lighting to LEDs as well as potentially performing some delamping on campus where appropriate. Initial estimates show a possible cost savings in the order of hundreds of thousands dollars annually, according to Tom. He also says, 鈥淯pgrading from fluorescent to LED can be challenging because there are over 7,000 different linear LED products available on the market and some of them are pretty bad. Therefore, 糖心Vlog BBC spent hundreds of hours on carefully assessing the market and testing some LED products.鈥
